AVAILABLE NOW ON ALL PLATFORMS - MORE DETAILS HERE!

A whimsical, romantic journey through the wilds of South West Ireland, composed and performed by (and starring) Melinda Joy and Son of Cormack. The song and video explore the ambiguity of new love, the influence of landscape on the imagination, and a longing for “the shape of a new life, more wild and free.” Produced, written, and directed by the artists, and filmed on location in Ireland (West Cork, Kerry, Wicklow, and Dublin) with cinematography, editing, and additional direction by Juro Kosec.

Melinda Joy and Son of Cormack transport us to a beautifully imagined world with “Out of the Blue,” an enchanting mix of indie rock and folk rock with a singer songwriter warmth. Set in the stunning South West of Ireland, the song conveys the uncertainty and excitement of new love and a longing for a life that feels more free and closer to nature. Its cinematic atmosphere, graceful harmonies, and heartfelt storytelling unfold with effortless charm, giving each lyric room to breathe.  – Harper Jacobs, Foxfire Magazine
